Sandra Bullock is on the cover of the new issue of People Magazine with her newly adopted son Luis Bardo Bullock who is African American. People Magazine reported that the actress and her soon to be ex-husband Jesse James started the adoption process about 4 years ago before James was exposed for his infidelities. It is hard to believe that James wanted to adopt a Black child considering he was rumored be a collector of Nazi regalia and a White Supremacist according to nydailynews.com
gawker.com reported the following:
James's ex-wife Janine Lindemulder is reportedly married to an "admitted skinhead" -- and Bullock and James reportedly used that info to try to gain custody of James's child with Lindemulder. In addition, others have questioned whether James's West Coast Choppers' logo bears a striking resemblance to Germany's Iron Cross, which is linked
to the Nazis.
James was quoted in People Magazine as saying:
“The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.”
How could James, who has Germany’s Iron Cross as a company logo, associates who bare questionable racist tattoos, and an ex-wife who is married to an “admitted Skinhead,” love a Black baby? The Bullock adoption is a diversion and publicity stunt designed to influence sympathy and distance Bullock from James’s questionable character. Interesting how the story was released around the same time their divorce was filed and James got out of rehab.
Why would People Magazine run a quote stating that James’s love for baby Luis “can’t be put into words” when clearly James character is in question? The answer is simple: drama sells. “The cover sells the magazine,” said Editor and Chief Larry Hackett. “The cover brings people into the big tent.” (source: New York Times 2009)
The more complicated answer is; Time Warner owns People Magazine and Warner Bros Studios that releases Bullocks movies. Corporate powerhouses can develop, create, control, influence and distribute their own actress friendly propaganda to minimize damage especially in Bullocks case. Sandra Bullock made over $20 million dollars last year and was one of Hollywood’s most successful revenue grossing stars. She was the All-America example of today’s successful White woman in Hollywood. If a movie studio or corporate powerhouse has $100 million invested in a movie they are going do what is necessary and within their power to protect their investment?
