According to CBS 5 San Francisco, ‘Pulp Fiction’ co-screenwriter Roger Avary was kicked out of a work furlough program.
Avary was remanded back into custody for tweeting, a form of text messaging on Twitter, about his experiences sense he was charged with a DUI car crash that killed a passenger and injured his wife.
3 months ago he was sentence to a year in jail and five years probation for causing the crash and had been furloughed to a work program.
A Sheriff’s spokesperson, Capt Ross Bonfiglio mentioned that the 44-year-old was in custody. The LA Times and the Ventura County Star also reported the story and that Avary had been locked up. However, Bonfiglio did mention to the Associated Press that the reason for the lock up was over security issues and that the tweets were not a major factor.
According CBS 5 story “Avary and Quentin Tarantino shared the 1995 Academy Award for writing "Pulp Fiction."”
