The Holly Scoop is reporting that during the American Music Awards rapper Jay-Z failed to stand up and cheer on his fellow rapper Fifty Cent because there might be tension between them over some lyrics in a 50 Cent a song.

"A Hollyscoop spy sitting right near Jay in the audience says he wouldn’t even stand up to cheer his fellow rappers on! They tell Hollyscoop exclusively, “When 50 Cent and Eminem were performing, Jay Z didn’t stand up. And the guy next to him stood up, and Jay Z pulled the guy down. So the guy sat.”
There are stories in the news everyday and it is difficult to decipher the facts or the “So Called Truth.” Someone saw something, said something, or said something that was taken out of context and now it is major news. Whatever the case, some reporters and journalist consistently muddle in story plots that have double meanings, vague notions, and made up half-truths to build a market for their low quality journalism. Yes! Their goal is to build followers and not readers.
If not cheering on another rapper is news worthy then the current standards for journalism should be abolished and recreated. Who cares if Jay-Z’s cheering section broke down! These two guys are rich, successful in their own senses, and competitive. Not rooting for the competition is not a bad thing. Maybe Jay-Z was tired form performing or from making all that money this year: who known’s and who cares?

Who cares? I think the people who follow rap do. Jay-Z's notorious for not responding to hate thrown his way and just getting...that...dirt off his shoulders. If he actually did this, I'd say it's a fairly significant gesture; considering what 50 has directed towards him since the Beanie Siegel move, and also considering Jay-Z and Eminem's past collaboration and mutual respect for each other. It'll be interesting to see how far into each side's camp this ends up, if you think about the further past issues between Jay's man Kanye and 50, as recently as the VMA Taylor Swift incident where 50 dissed Kanye for it, and Jay-Z stood up for Kanye. I think Blueprint 3 has made a lot of people mad for whatever reason, and now Jay-Z actually has to deal with the aftermath of his lyrics from the people who took exception. This could either further a big rap rivalry -- or it could just sell lots of either side's albums.
I thought Jay and Em were cool . Anyways...Em has sold more than 3 times Jay z with just 6 albums...Jay z has 11

Everyone in rap has lost the whole idea...it's about the music. And, to be fair, rap...rock music sucks too.
Jay has nothing against Em and he should kno that. Its 50 cents big ass mouth that Jay has a problem with, as he should. 50 has been talking mess about him and his wife, and he wants to react that way he has that right. It only seems like Em is included becuause of the performance but I doubt he is. Its not mandated that Jay has to stand up for anything...get a grip! 50 cent wasnt even needed for that performance and he sounded so slurred and high!
