Lomi lomi massage training is coming to Phoenix, Arizona
Sacred Lomi announced on November 20, 2009 that they have chosen Tempe, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona to be the site of a Hawaiian lomi lomi massage training workshop. Donna Jason of Sacred Lomi says the location and timing where chosen to correspond with the 2010 Aloha Festival.
According to the company’s web site, “Sacred Lomi® was developed by Tom Cochran and Donna Jason from Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, a form of Lomi Lomi. The massage practice integrates physical and energetic healing techniques with flowing forearm movements, breath, presence, aloha and sacred space. Students earn continuing education credits through NCBTMB while learning self-care, conscious awareness and a beautiful and powerful Hawaiian lomi lomi massage modality. All of our lomi trainings are taught with a heart-centered, healing intention for all.”
The training, which is scheduled to be held March 9 – 12, 2010 is open to anyone interested in this sacred practice – you do not have to be a massage therapist to attend.
