In our new poll for the race to be the next Prince George's County State's Attorney, things appear to be very close. Angela Alsobrooks who directs the county Revenue Authority, along with County Council Vice Chair Tom Dernoga, and Police Inspector General Mark Spencer.
For the last month and a half we have been working with high school volunteers to get out to six metro stations, coffee shops, and through an on line poll to get 515 residents mostly between the ages of 17 and 31. We wanted to find out who they thought should be the next State's Attorney. The results of that poll are below but show that there is still a long way to go in that race.
The Prince George's County State's Attorney works as the top law enforcement officer in the county. A field of candidates are looking to replace outgoing State's Attorney Glenn Ivey who is rumored to be running for either County Executive or the US House of Representatives against Rep. Donna Edwards.

| Council Vice Chair Tom Dernoga | 26% |
| Police Inspector General Mark Spencer | 24% |
| Revenue Authority Director Angela Alsobrooks | 18% |

| I could change my mind | 40% |
This was a purely unscientific poll conducted to get the views of young people as to who they think should be the next State's Attorney.
