The Tennessee BJJ State Championships will be held on August 28, 2010, at the Blount County Parks and Recreation, Everett Gymnasium, 318 S. Everett High Rd. Maryville, TN 37801. The event is being sponsored by the TNBJJ Federation and Hatcher's Martial Arts.
Registration & weigh in will begin at 9:00am Saturday morning and continue until 30 minutes prior to the division starting. A special note for those who preregister - you can weigh in Friday evening between 5:00PM and & 7:00PM at Hatcher's Martial Arts located at:

The event is scheduled to start 10:30am with the kids gi and no gi divisions. The rest of the day is scheduled as follows:
Gi Women - 10:30am All Ranks
Gi Blue, purple belt & Brown belt men 11:30am
GI White belt men- 1:30pm
ALL Adult NO-Gi 3:00pm
No Gi divisions are separated in to the following categories: Beginner up to 12 months, Intermediate 1-3 yrs and Advanced over 3 years.
Weight and age groups are:
Adult men and Gi and NO Gi 18-34yrs with a new weight class for those under 145 plus 146-155, 156-174, 175-194, 195 and over
Master 35 and over: Gi and No Gi, 160 and below, 161-185, 186 and over
Women weights Gi and No Gi, 131 and below and 132 and above
Kids & Teens Gi and No Gi 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 (Kids may be grouped by size as well)
16 and 17 year old competitors may compete in the adult division with parental permission (you must sign up as an adult for bracketing)
Female competitors age 14 - 17 will have their own division separate from the boys, below 14 will be both genders.

Pre Registration ends 8-20-10, $50.00 for 1 division, $65.00 2 divisions
Price at the door is $65.00 for 1 division and $80.00 for 2 divisions
