Manny Pacquiao will run for Congress in the Philippines in 2010. This is his 2nd try to become a Congressman. Pacquiao just defeated Cotto for his seventh World Boxing Title.

Pacquiao is a A former baker and construction worker born to a poor family, he earned $22 million dollars in his last fight and is an extreme example of "rags-to-riches". The average worker in his country earns $1 a day. He told the AP that he wanted to serve the poor people in his province.
"I want to help them because I know what they feel right now. It is not easy to help other people. That is a big responsibility. I will focus on that for the meantime," he told AP.
He is calling his election campaign the "People's Champ Movement". We wish him the best. He is a classy man, who cares and shares. Not like the classless Mayweather who is know for "raining money" at strip clubs. Can't wait until Pacquiao shuts his mouth in the ring.
