Brock Lesnar surgery, alarming news, he could be wearing a bag (photo wikipedia)
As we reported over the last few days, Brock Lesnar has had surgery for diverticulitis and is at home recovering from the operation. Yesterday we spoke with a prominent Dallas surgeon and told him about what we knew about Brock and what was being reported. We told him that Brock had been in the hospital 11 days and that it was reported that his bowels were leaking into his stomach, and that he had had surgery. What the surgeon told me was alarming.
The surgeon told me that when a bowel was leaking into the stomach and the surgeon thought it would heal naturally, that the surgeon would operate. Opening a small area on Brock's abdomen and attach a colostomy bag to the intestines above the damaged area, sealing them off and allowing the body to heal. That means that if indeed this type of surgery was preformed on Brock Lesnar, that Brock is wearing at colostomy bag and will take months to heal. How long depends on a lot of things but that if the surgery was successful he would indeed heal. Now here is the alarming part, at least to me. The surgeon told me that Brock Lesnar could lose up to 100 pounds while his body healed. Since the body would no longer be able to digest food through the intestines and not get adequate nutrition. Since Brock weighs 270+ pounds, he could easily lose 100 pounds.
The surgeon did tell me that if Brock healed, which he certainly expected to happen, that he could return to the fight ring. So that is good news. We do not know for certain if this indeed was the type of surgery that Brock has had and if he is wearing a colostomy bag, but we do know that this is the type of surgery that could have been preformed for diverticulitis and that if it was, Brock is indeed wearing a bag, and can and will heal naturally. Keep Brock in your prayers.
Dana White has told the press that he is considering putting Brock Lesnar's Heavyweight title up as in "interim" championship while he waits …
Tito Ortiz is ready for a fight and wants to beat Griffin badly at UFC 106, and if talking was punching, he wouldn't have much of a problem, but …

My father had the same thing happen to him. But they did not have to put a bag on him. So until we know, let's just pray for the best.
Alex needs to get a life and not bash other peoples comments//////freedom of speech dip-shit....now go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Real mature Alex, I can tell by your language Alex that you are a an intelligent person. Real extensive vocabulary. How many times can you swear in 1 tiny paragraph? Grow up, please.
Please disregard the comments made by Alex. He hasn't been responding well to his medication recently.
Don't be so worried about his weight. The nutrients will be absorbed in his small intestine so his body will have all it needs to maintain itself. The large intestine mainly re-absorbs fluid intake or that has been secreted in the stomach and gut for digestion, and he will still have about half the large intestine functional, IF he has a colostomy. He might lose some muscle mass due to inactivity while he is recovering, but not 100 pounds!!
Brock lesner we be coming back but we should atleast give him teh respect he needs so he can hopefully still regain his title and fight Shane Carwin but in the mean time (Alex) you have no right on saying that about him cause if you were to say that to him in real life you would be in his postion in real alot of pain i may dislike Brock Lesner is ways but you still got to see that he is something and trying to get better so he still continue his career unlike you , you cant do nothing about it cause you are an immature person who thinks the worst is yet to come
Got something to say?
