Technology Tuesday - Picture Keeper - organize your wedding pictures easily

OK, already Tuesday again, and here's a great new piece of technology that's going to make organizing your digital wedding pictures a whole lot easier. Wedding Priestess is always on shaky ground when it comes to techno-stuff, but hey, I get this! And if I get this, so can you! And you can use it easily. And just as every other bride and groom, you're going to have a whole lot of pictures to organize. You'll have all your original photos. You'll have the photos friends will send you. If you had people snap pictures at their table at the wedding, you'll have all those as well. You want to keep them safe. Here's how!

Matt Stanchie wrote to tell me that they've developed a new tool called picture keeper. He's excited, and WP thinks he should be. It’s a fantastically simple way to safeguard irreplaceable digital photos. You just plug the little USB device into your computer, and it does all the work for you. It finds all of the pictures stored on your computer and saves them safely to the device. The next time you plug it in, it only pulls in new photos so you never had to worry about duplicates! You can even schedule back up reminders on their site, which every busy bride and groom needs.

Here's what they say about their tool: "Picture Keeper is a simple and safe way for the digital camera owner and picture organizer to make a backup of their photos from their PC.  Picture Keeper is a USB device with embedded software that has been designed for the busy bride who take lots of digital pictures.  Simply plug Picture Keeper into any USB port, click OK/Start Backup and then Picture Keeper automatically finds and saves all of your pictures.  It's that simple!  There is no software to install or to configure and no confusing “wizards” to click through!  It really is an amazing and worry free device that puts the individual in control of their pictures and guards them against the potential hard drive failure or computer crash." (Wedding Priestess is liking the sound of this!)

The Picture Keeper comes in two sizes, 4GB which holds 4,000 pictures and 8GB which holds 8,000 pictures. If you’re not sure which size you would need to store your photos, check out their tutorial.

As a bonus Picture Keeper can be used with any Digital Picture Frame and Photo developing kiosks. It also can be used on Windows XP, Vista or MAC OS.

So there you are, a product that works. And here's the best thing: Matt's offering my readers 10 percent off. So go buy it: Just enter ' Save10 ' at checkout. It's not expensive, it's convenient and it's one more way to make it easy to commemorate your moving from "I do" to happily and healthily ever after!
