With one week left of classes, Emerson students put the finishing touches on their Mini PR Plans, as referenced in an earlier post.
Emerson College professor, Julie Lellis, provided her students with the opportunity to create sample public relations plans for potential clients, outlining key media tactics, possible events and social media strategies.
Liz Swenton of March Communications visited Emerson yesterday and met with the March student PR team and was so impressed with their creative ideas and out-of-the-box thinking.
“The students really did their research and spent time on March’s website, particularly our blog, PR Nonsense, and had great ideas on how we can create additional visibility within the community and nationwide,” Liz stated. “The group conversations were lively, thought-provoking and insightful. I was incredibly amazing at the students’ knowledge of social media.”
March was also joined by other great local companies, including:
• Fawn Heart Cronin Personal Training
• Jumpstart
• Lovehue.com
• Winslow Management
We are extremely grateful for this opportunity and wish all of the students the best of luck in their future endeavors as public relations professionals.
