218,588 Members In Group On Facebook Called: Soldiers Are Not Heroes !

Sadly, this is about a group that has been formed which has an international membership of 218,588 members.  The group is called: "Soldiers Are Not Heroes"    http://www.facebook.com/editapps.php?ref=mb#/group.php?v=wall&gid=2216265717 and it tragically and unfortunately puts a blanket of blame on soldiers without acknowledging politicians, leaders and the peoples of various countries who allow this to happen.  This is no different than a group that is formed to put a blanket of condemnation on a whole religion, or group of people because of the color of their skin.  Apparently, they feel that peace can be obtained by codemning all soldiers, which ironically invokes the very anger and hate that they seem to decry.

This writer has a question for them: If you think all soldiers are wrong for serving, do you pay one pennie of tax to the government that commands them? No, don't want to hear any back sliding because if you do, you're no different than Heinrich Himmler saying: I got one drop of blood on my collar but the war criminals who carried out my orders have a gallon of blood on their uniforms so I am better.  That...is what we call hypocricy on a grand scale.  I can understand if they want to stop war but to put this blanket of blame on all soldiers is not just wrong, it's hypocritcal.

LOL, they have about 10 members. They hijacked a Facebook group about teen dating and changed it to SANH. This is at least the third time they have done this. About 219,000 "members" of their group don't even know they are part of SANH.

Wow! You're not generalising much with your assumption that the members of the group don't pay a "pennie" (penny) tax toward the governments that make these decisions for us, are you?

In Britain, 70+% don't want our troops out there fighting. So on this side of the pond, there's not that much hero worshipping going on.

Good to know the troops are trying to sort out a country who have another newly voted corrupt leader, eh?

What a waste of time and lives.

This group is intended to point out the absurdity of the many groups on Facebook that portray all soldiers to be heroes and shower the armed forces with unconditional praise.

Putting on a soldiers uniform does not make you a hero. Supporters of the group generally agree that the wars that our armed forces are participating in at the present time and in recent years are unnecessary and unjust. Therefore we don't feel that we should be pressured into offering "support" to people fighting and killing innocent people for causes that we don't believe in.

We recognise that the government are mainly to blame but also think that members of the forces need to take responsibility for their own actions in choosing to support these causes. Soldiers have free will and the opportunity to not sign/re-sign up if they feel they are being asked to participate in an unjust war, so they also deserve a proportion of the blame if they choose to stay.

The group highlights the need to keep away from blanket hero worship. Every time someone repeats a soundbite or pro-war slogan, ie Soldiers are heroes etc, it helps to propagate illegal conflict and is, ultimately what helps to send young, impressionable people to their deaths.

You should realise that 218,499 members of that group were previously in a harmless group, before it underwent a name change into "soldiers are not heroes".

Additionaly, there are less than 10 real profiles who support the premise, the rest, like myself, are on there to support the soldiers.

Jake (troll) was military himself, Lilly (troll) enjoys provoking soldiers, Anna (troll) keeps the group going by using no less than 25 sock puppets & entices soldiers to the group by posting links to it in real soldier groups, thereby antagonizing them into coming.

The best way to kill a troll is to stop feeding it.
    And Anna Troll is starving.

The troops and military supporters are the number one reason war continues to exists in the 21st century. Without the troops, there could be no wars. Thus, they are the ones with ALL the blame. Politicians can't force anyone to do anything. Troops go willingly to fight. Screw the troops! Support a cure!

    Josh is naive.
People like him can't see that without soldiers, militia and other terrorist organizations would be rife. The IRA would control most of Ireland, the J'aish Armadi would control the streets of London & the public would live in fear.

Luckily for us, opinions like his are in the minority & we (the people) elected our government to control our military & should they send our troops into an illegal conflict, the blam. Should rest firmly on our shoulders.

The soldiers are not heroes group is nothing more than a troll group to antagonize people. Granted, it is the longest running troll group next to Get Huntley off Facebook but the Admin most certainly do not believe what they are trying to portray, if they do then it is not as venomous as they make out, how can it be when one of the main ring leaders is ex forces himself? He's delusional, i'll give you that but really I think that maybe he was stung by the military and this is some kind of revenge for not having what it takes.

Mctwang on the other hand is a law onto herself, she pushes boundaries like no other troll, a real credit to them by all accounts. The rest of them are possibly multi profilers, Juliet is probably Lilly and Anna (previously Regency) has numerous accounts. The NG family are all one person. It really is a lonely world for some.

This group will remain and continue to grow all the while they are receiving interest and attention.

The petition groups are also all the same team of trolls, recently outted as such and banned all members that dared question their authenticity yet they let the likes of Speed and NG to spew their hate all over the wall and in discussions. Not to mention the laughable articles by Miss Wright Wylde aka Lilly.

It is comical but at the same time distressing that they do it for the laughs. It's the families of soldiers who will be suffering their slanderous remarks. The Military themselves find we have a good laugh at their expense.

The Servicemen and Women willingly obey those dubiously elected political leaders. The Servicemen are still humans; they have a chose. And they choose to follow the corrupt into whatever part of the world they get sent to.

That makes them AT LEAST as countable, if not more. This also includes anyone willing to support the United States of Terrorism such as the private businesses that make the military's weapons and supplies.

In fact the group "soldiers are not heroes" is not against soldiers as individuals!! it is against the fact that some soldiers become war machines and war criminals and all of us have noticed this in Iraq and in Afghanistan!! Soldiers became tools and subjects in the hands of corrupted politicians who have no principles but enslaving the weak!! Some people think that soldiers are good people and ignore their crimes against humanity!! What do soldiers do?? Do they plant trees??They plant hatred in the hearts of children, they rape, they kill, they toture, they slay, they slaughter...What do the American troops do in Iraq? What do they do in Afghanistan? What did they do before that in Vietnam and in Korea?? What happened to the world??How can people hide truth?? Some people think that soldiers are protecting their so-called civilized world,no one is against that, but does this mean that you have to oppress other countries??The war on Iraq was based on a big lie?
