Sunday evening, behind closed doors, President Obama put great pressure on the Democratic Senators, political pressure, akin to extortion (like Sen. Max Baucus pushing for girlfriend in office) to pass his highest priority since taking office- the $1 trillion plus “proven failure” health bill.
This Wednesday Obama lands in Oslo, Norway to pick up his undeserved Nobel Peace Prize. The latest Gallop poll shows 61% of Americans don’t believe he deserved it. He was in office just 12 days before the award nomination expired-how could he? He’s deserving of the old “Fickled finger of fate”award from Rowan and Martin’s Laugh in show for his swift polarization of the country.
The President’s much delayed decision on Afghanistan was finally made at West Point where he’s now joined the “war mongers” of the world by sending 30,000 troops to uncertain ends. Obama has traveled more than any other President in history and has virtually nothing to show for it.
The latest polls have more American’s thinking the country is going in the wrong direction than ever before. The economy is still failing, Americans are dispirited, unemployed with no soothing news from Capitol Hill.
Meanwhile the Pentagon has spent undisclosed time and money investigating whether a Canadian quarter with a red poppy in the center was a spy coin. It’s unbelievable that the closest U.S. ally, our leading supplier of oil could be viewed this way- it’s our tax dollars at work. Why not-Denver has proposed a special commission for UFO’s.
The American people are calling for drastic cutbacks in government, a smaller government as noted in the National Tea Parties. Smaller government will save billions and then trillions of tax dollars-it will bring global respect back to the Red, White and Blue.

wow!!! what an amazingly stupid article. the whole big goverment thing is so old, find another talking point. think about that next time you ride in your goverment inspected safety standard regulation passed vehicle. next time you put that seat belt on, next time you purchase a steak or some medicine, next time you log in on line to write you drivel, next time you have a cup of coffee, any way you probably don't get it go vote for Palin
Alex,
Wow, some of us don't like paying for that list of groups that you mentioned through their works.
While seat belts are a good thing, government regulation of them is not. I can do my own safety inspection of my cars thank you very much. In fact I felt that the first generation airbags, certified as safe by your gov't regulators, was way too dangerous due to their documented effect of decapitating small passengers.
If you wish to live in Europe, move to Europe. Stop working to turn this nation into what my ancestors left.
