October is National Breast Cancer awareness month!
What could be better than supporting a great cause like breast cancer awareness, than to do so by purchasing products to beautify yourself or loved ones. With Avon having its fantastic annual "Walk for a Cure" that was here and gone at the end of September there are still other ways to support companies that support breast cancer awareness and research through the rest of October.
Companies like Tweezerman, Bobbi Brown, Elemis, and Estee Lauder have introduced breast caner awareness products for a limited time. Each company is donating a percentage of the breast cancer awareness products sales during the month of October to various breast cancer awareness and research programs.
With breast cancer being the number one cause of cancer related death in woman ages 15 years old to 54 years old (according to about.com) it is important that we support eachother by supporting and purchasing from companies donating significant amounts of money to help aid in the research to find better more effective ways to treat and cure breast cancer. Approximately 40,000 woman die annually from breast cancer each year (according to wikianswers). Purchasing an awesome pair of tweezers or a beautiful pink lip gloss you may have needed anyway, can help save lives. Lets make it our personal mission to purchase from companies like Avon, Tweezerman, Bobbi Brown, Elemis, and Estee Launder to support a cause that affects us all.
