Many Magic: The Gathering players enjoy heading down to the local hobby shop for Friday Night Magic (FNM), and now players will be able to enjoy that casual yet competitive atmosphere someplace completely different with Thursday Night Magic. 

That's right, Thursday Night Magic is taking the fun of FNM to Magic: The Gathering Online.

The promo cards featured online will be the same as the ones in reality, so you'll have your first shot at Krosan Grip on August 5th.  These online FNM events feature a casual prize structure and a variety of event types, including traditional drafting, 4-booster Sealed Deck, 6-Booster Sealed Deck, and constructed.

Everyone who plays in Thursday Night Magic gets a copy of the promo card, and players that win all their matches will snag a foil version of the promo card as well.  You can find out more about Thursday Night Magic at the announcement page here!
