BGS 10 Beta Black Lotus Magic: the Gathering Card
A perfect BGS 10 Beta Black Lotus Magic: the Gathering card has hit Ebay for a cool $89,000.00. Any Magic: the Gathering player from Boston, Massachusetts that just happens to have the spare cash laying around in their bank accounts may want to consider making an offer.
The only shipping method is local pickup in "Northwest, United States", so be sure to bring an armed bodyguard.
According to the auction listing:
This Is The Single Highest Graded Beta Black Lotus In Existence ….. The Only BGS-10. And It Has Remained The Only BGS-10 For Five Years! It Cannot Be Under-Estimated How Difficult It Is For A Card To Achieve This High Of A Grade.
This Black Lotus Was Featured With A Headline On "Beckett Magic the Gathering" In December of 2005 With A Half Page Color Article Dedicated Just To This Card! It was the only BGS 10 then, and it remains the only on now.
Unfortunately most Magic: the Gathering players will never own a played Unlimited Black Lotus. Will you be the only one to own a BGS 10 Beta Black Lotus? Truly a one of a kind collector's item.

LOL@89,000 for a black lotus, are you retarded? goodluck finding some numbchuck that will pay that amount for ultimately a piece of cardboard...
Just a year or 2 ago a PSA 10 Black Lotus Alpha went for 15 grand and a Beta for 11 grand. I severely doubt that there is a collector that would actually throw away that much money for something that useless. I don't even see how this could be an investment as Magic: the Gathering has barely been around for 15 years.
Also take into account that there are rarer and more valuable cards in the series.
Besides it's not as if any of the high grades Black Lotuses will have their cases cracked. They will remain where they are until the buyer decides to sell it.
