DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has now officially banned any enforcement of our immigration laws by local officials.
Meanwhile, in a press release on Tuesday, October 6th, removed all doubt that the Obama Administration is officially pursuing an open borders policy that rewards those who break into our country illegally, cut in front of law-abiding immigrants, and and impose crushing burdens on our already teetering economy.
Key features:
- The new initiative is aimed at implementing "alternatives to detention."
- It refers to some illegal immigrants as "non-criminals" and seeks to "expand programs...including legal support services." In other words, more tax dollars are going to be spent accomodating people who spit on our laws, crowd our prisons, and bankrupt our schools...and we will now even be providing them with taxpayer-funded lawyers to help them manipulate the system and obtain amnesty.
- Another primary objective of the program is to "enhance detainee medical care." As I have noted, this one won't even be necessary if ObamaCare is forced through.
- It also creates yet another federal bureaucracy (the Office of Detention Policy and Planning), to "investigate detainee grievances."
Imagine Americans illegally breaking into France, marching down their streets waving our flags, demanding that they speak our language and give us handout after handout...all while smearing anyone who objects as a xenophobe and a racist.
People would be rightly outraged at our audacity. And this is the equivalent of the French government responding by bending over backwards to appease us.
It is an inexcusable betrayal of the American people.

Too bad American families and homeless citizens aren't treated as well. We just let them sleep in doorways and eat garbage. BUT if you are an illegal immigrant, we have a network of agencies to help them with their troubles. Legal aid, housing, social services. All for illegal immigrant criminals, paid by the American taxpayer.
Just who the hell does this Napolitano think she is? The 287(g) was designed to get the criminal illegal aliens, and every illegal alien in this Country is a criminal. And just where does open borders come from? We don't want that! I think this Napolitano should step down and put someone there who can ENFORCE the immigration laws. I don't know who is going to destroy the Country completely first, obama and his thugs or the illegal aliens.

the federal goverment allowed this to happen most of documentally challenged people (illegals LOL!)are good hard working people thus the federal goverment should be held accountable for this,border should be secured(although that might not happen we have a northamerican union with no borders on the way and is the only way to remain a superpower and compete with the rest of the developed nations Im ok with this but I also understand that a lot of people dont like it but thats goin to happen soon) and and the people here should be given a chance that is the right thing to do and none can argue that.

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and SHALL PROTECT EACH OF THEM FROM FOREIGN INVASION."
One of the few things the federal government is actually SUPPOSED to be doing, is one of the only things it absolutely REFUSES to do.

I disagree with your fatalistic view that; essentially 'they are going to get what they want'. I also disagree with your belief that illegal aliens should be 'given the chance - it's the right thing to do'.
In case you haven't noticed, Americans are fed slap-up with the Federales doing whatever they want, whenever they want. Whether it's bailing out banks and assorted other businesses and institutions to forcing us to immunize against some pandemic, the American people are pretty much 'on fire' right now and our social networking abilities are amplifying the effect.
As far as the illegals already here, no length of time makes them legit. It isn't the "right thing" to have the attitude: "Oh well, they're already here, there's nothing we can do about it so we might as well let them share in the bounty our Forefathers fought and died to bequeath to US."
Throwing up your hands and capitulating to the Ruling Elite OR the illegals isn't the traditional American way.
As soon as everyone wakes up to the fact that this is all being done on purpose, it will cease to become painful, upsetting and bewildering. When those emotions have faded, the traditional European instinct for savage victory in battle will replace the present placid eunuch like state of the current american male.
