The last collection from MAC Cosmetics last year was the Daphne Guinness collection. Daphne Guinness has many fans, and her fashion sense is famous around the world. The collection was released on December 26, 2011, and it became an instant hit. Fans had been looking forward to the collection, and were excited about the shades that were released. This collection features beautiful, classic colors, as well as some shades that are distinctive.
The products that were reviewed are various lip products from the collection which includes all four of the limited edition pro longwear lipcremes and the cremesheen glasses. The four lipcremes that were released are Approaching Storm which is a deep rose, Seasoned Plum which is a mid-tone lavender, Red Dwarf which is a blue pink, and Warp Speed which is light silver. Each retails for $17.00 and the pro longwear lipcremes last a very long time. The first three shades are very opaque and Warp Speed is very sheer, and is quite a different shade from the norm, which will appeal to many people.
Two of the cremesheen glasses that were reviewed are Borealis which is described as a pale grey pink with iridescent pearl, and Narcissus which is a dirty eggplant shade. These products retail for $18.50. These two particular shades would look great worn alone, or on top of a lipstick. Borealis is certainly a shade that is different, as is Warp Speed, so if you are looking for a shade that is not easily found in a permanent collection, you will want to see these shades.
