Burger King, in a pull-no-punches, tongue in cheek jibe at a nation dependent on Facebook, has issued a new challenge:
Delete 10 Facebook friends and get a free Whopper.
The best part of all (or worse depending on if you gave up your own mum)?
Deletion of friends will show up on your feeds.
Want to test friendship? See what happens when friends read, "Doug was sacrificed by Jane for a Buger King Whopper" on your Facebook feeds.
One coupon will be issued for 10 such deletions, but a word to the hungry and 'friended': only one coupon per customer, please.
The Burger King website shows the number of friends who have been sold down the Flame-Broiled river for a free slab of meat (currently at .221,379). That's a lot of patty pleasure.
If you're a friend of mine on Facebook, I forgive you in advance. To you low-carbers out there, pluck the bun.
