After months of media leaks and erroneous reports, it appears that the final divorce agreement might come in the next few days. With Tiger Woods, accuracy has often been sacrificed for the sake of a headline -- as such, the following list of stories have been cross-checked to weed out speculation as much as possible.
The most outrageous reports concerned $750 million. And I reported in July, Elin is not getting $750 even though many feel that even half of that is too much for such a short marriage. While others feel that given the humilation she experienced, she deserves every penny. Nonetheless:

Final divorce in the next few days
Now according to Shuttervoice and several other news sources, "The couple should be divorced in the coming few days because final touches are being given to prenuptial conditions and financial aspects of necessary documents. In reality, does the division of property really matter? What matters most is that a marriage has ended and two children will spend their lives being shuttled back and forth from parent to parent.

Elin should get whatever she wants. Woods put her at risk for: AIDS, HIV, STD'S, etc. It takes years for some of those diseases to show up. He put her life at risk. What a sicko, lying creep. It has been mentioned by many too that Woods MAY be playing bad golf on purpose so he has NO monetary winnings, due to his impending divorce and the payout and alimony, kid support, etc. IF he has NO earnings coming IN, he will have LESS going out to his soon ex-wife. Could be true, would not surprise me; we all know lawyers can play dirty. Bet soon as Woods' divorce is final, he starts winning again, I'd bet on it. PLUS, he'll be able to start in again with all the women he's shown he likes to keep on a string, makes him feel powerful, obviously, for that is all the years he was playing his best golf, he was with his wife, plus about 15 others at least, and he always won at golf. That tells you something, doesn't it. What a horrid man, he fooled everyone. Wish he would just disappear.

Tiger Woods seems to have serious emotional and character issues that may have been long standing. Tiger admitted that he needed on going rehab to address his issues. I hope that Tiger has remained committed to his rehab for his own sake and the sake of his children. Only time will tell if Tiger is able to conquer his demons. Elin Nordegren loved, respected and trusted Tiger and Tiger committed the ultimate betrayal, deception and humiliation against Elin and his children. A wife does not get over this in a short period of time. I applaud that Elin Nordegren is moving on with her life taking care of herself and her children. Elins’priorities now seems to be her children, and they need her most. I wish them all the best!!!
Yeah, I'll believe it when papers are really filed. They've been "divorcing" since last December. If Tiger and Elin were quietly working on their marriage, they are both such private people I suspect they wouldn't say anything to the media or be seen together in public.
When that new monstrosity on Jupiter Island is finished, I wouldn't be surprised if Tiger moves in....with Elin and the kids.
You are so right, it is the children that matter and not the property settlement issues.
