Since I began to interview nationally acclaimed doctors with expertise in sex addiction and infidelity, I have developed a different understanding of the problems encountered by both those with a sexual addition and their spouses. (My newspaper column will be published on Sunday with some eye opening statistics based indisputable scientific interviews.)

The road back from sex addiction is dramatically difficult and there is no one size all treatment protocol -- unlike alcoholism where you need to simply stop drinking -- which is not so simple -- sex addiction requires that behavior become relearned.
The good news for the children of Tiger and Elin Woods is they they are attempting to reconcile.

Addictions are difficult to kick
Remember with sex addiction we are not just talking about infidelity , we are talking about a person with a serious condition.
Anyone who has known a person addicted to drugs, alcohol, pills, even gambling knows that it is not so much about the pros and cons of making a marriage work -- because with addictions the risks and benefits change daily -- it is about love and forgiveness. It is about developing trust. / RW

Rita, you can't be serious with this article? It is so thin and de-railed that it just becomes hilarious. How can you claim that Elin & Tiger is together again just because they play tennis togheter at one point? Credibilty is achieved when true facts are on the table, not just empty speculations to get 5 min of fame.
This is a true example of why I dislike "Bloggers". My hope is that true/trained journalists will return in force and squash them.
