A Barnes and Nobel book
How many men and women have ever cheated on a spouse? That number is just 15 to 18 percent.
The numbers interviewed: Close to 15,000 since study began in 1988.
The source
The latest information compiled and reported by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago in November 2009. The question asked: They asked, “Have you ever had sex with someone other than your spouse while married?” Some 15 to 18 percent said "yes." Those admitting to sex outside of marriage during the past year. Infidelity: Fast Facts, Love: only 5 percent of men cheat annually Infidelity Fast Facts, Love: fewer than 3 percent of women cheat each year
How are these figures determined? Will discuss in the next Infidelity Fast Facts based on my interview with the director.
ABOUT LOVE and THE BOOKS
With such low numbers, why have we all been spending so much time worrying about infidelity and suspicious snooping rather than focusing on love?
With this entire series I will be highlighting books on healing. The books are not an endorsement but rather a resource to help readers know that there is help after infidelity. The book pictured above is:Not "Just Friends", Shirley P. Glass, Book - Barnes & Noble
