Bristol Palin continues to do her part to educate teens about the issues of unexpected pregnancy even as her estranged husband is posing nude,  trashing the family, and fighting for custody.

"The Secret Life of the American Teenager," is set to air this summer. According to the network, Palin will play a friend of the show's main character, Amy. The show has recently focused on how Amy reacts to an unexpected pregnancy.

"I am thrilled to be on this show and to be part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy," Palin said in a statement provided by ABC. Bristol Palin to make acting debut

Sarah Palin, said in a recent interview, “Everyone should be abstinent but it’s not realistic.” “Condomania” can deter infectious love (The Providence Journal.)

"The network has also collaborated with The National Campaign To Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy for an on-air PSA, as well as online content." Bristol Palin to guest star on 'Secret Life of the American Teenager'; episode ... New York Daily News

I have been harsh in my criticism of Levi Johnson -- although both he and Bristol must share the condomless responsibility. Nonetheless as I said earlier, shame on Vanity Fair for giving Levi a forum to trash talk instead of asking him to write about safe sex.

Having read many of the comments on CNN's Political Ticker, re: Bristol Palin, makes me realize that there are far greater concerns to consider than teen pregnancy; namely unmitigated hate.
