On the heels of Spain’s promo for Season 6, ABC has released another promo of its own. As expected, there is no new footage (I know you’re getting tired of hearing that), but it is encouraging to see that advertising is amp-ing up.
More talk about ‘destiny,’ a subtle allusion to the LOST timeline, and an official marker of the S6 premier date mark this ad’s distinguishing characteristics:
I’ll be there to watch whether they find a hook for commercials-with-no-new-teasers or not. But throw us a bone, will ya guys?
Perhaps Darlton is too busy actually finishing LOST to take the time to carefully promote LOST. It’s got to be hard not to give anything away when you talk about the final act.
‘We have written 112 episodes, with about 9 more to go. We have come this far, so just trying not to screw it up,’ LOST co-executive producer Damon Lindelof told AOL at a Star Trek event.
He said, ‘We really want the focus in the last year to be on the original castaways that we have been following since the beginning. But that doesn't mean there won't be a couple new flavors in the melange. There are a couple new faces, but not as many as there have been in past seasons.’

Lindelof also said that we will probably get a little more than we are expecting a little sooner than we are expecting. Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about, brutha!
