Lakers web real estate: It's a buyer's market

Luke's angry he doesn't have a website.

Yesterday we took a look at all of the Los Angeles Lakers with their own official websites.

The results were less than stellar, as most sites (Pau Gasol's excepted) needed quite a bit of streamlining.

Today we'll find out which players are in desperate need of their own websites, and exactly what it will take to get them.

Luke Walton - Much to my surprise, the well-spoken, personality-filled Walton does not have his own official website. If you go to lukewalton.com, you will be re-directed to a website for Luke Walton and Richard Jefferson's 2008 Summer Basketball Camp. It does have an awesome quote from Luke's notorious father, Bill Walton: "It will be the greatest summer basketball camp in the whole history of the NBA!" It's time for Luke to stop riding his dad's coattails and start showcasing his own humor on his own website.

GoDaddy.com Price: lukewalton.com is already taken, but you can snatch up LUKEWALTONONLINE.com for just $9.99/year. Maybe rethink buying that used DVD of The Cutting Edge and instead get Luke's site up and running.

Trevor Ariza - No official site but he's definitely in demand. When I started typing "trevor ariza off--" into Google, it auto-filled "trevor ariza official site," so obviously people are looking for it. Trevorariza.com has some generic basketball pictures and a list of related basketball searches. At the top it says that the domain may be for sale, so jump on it while you can.

GoDaddy.com Price: If the folks at trevorariza.com are being too stingy, why not try TREVORARIZA.biz for just $14.99/year? Because with Ariza, it's always business time.

Josh Powell - The Lakers' super sub has no official website. I got excited when I looked for joshpowell.com and actually found something, but unfortunately it led me to the official website of Josh Powell - Your Local Utah Realtor and National Relocation Expert. After about five minutes, I realized it wasn't the same guy.

GoDaddy.com Price: Take Josh's image to the next level by adding an air of importance with THEJOSHPOWELL.com for $9.99/year.

Sun Yue - Due to Sun's "fan favorite" status in L.A., coupled with his popularity in China, I was taken aback when I found that he has no official website. Sunyue.com has some Chinese writing and a link to several music sites. Maybe Sun's a pop star and we just don't know it.

GoDaddy.com price: Appropriately enough, SUNYUE.asia is available for $19.99/year. If only half of the Chinese population visits your site everyday, that's still some serious traffic!

Adam Morrison - Whoever ran Adam Morrison's official website before he was drafted probably destroyed it after his rookie season. Nonetheless if you get in now, you can reap all the benefits once he becomes an All-Star next season...well, maybe not. But at the very least you could post a series of Morrison's hair/stache combos.

GoDaddy.com Price: And appropriate for his fresh start next season, buy NEWADAMMORRISON.com for $9.99/year.

DJ Mbenga - One of the fans on TheLakersNation.com already called dibs on djmbenga.com, so you better hurry up. DJ is definitely a personality and deserves a little more recognition. After the Chris Mihm trade, DJ is now suiting up for pretty much every game, so I think it's time to take his status to the next level.

GoDaddy.com Price: djmbenga.com is taken, but let's get a little more creative and go with FREEDACOS.com. It works on so many levels.

Shannon Brown - Once again I was duped. I saw "SHANNON BROWN OFFICIAL SITE" as the top result in my search and got excited. Then I realized that Shannon Brown also happens to be the name of a budding female country music sensation. You can purchase her album, "Corn Fed" directly from the site. No word on whether Track 3 - "Big Man" is a lover's lament about Andrew Bynum.

GoDaddy.com Price: In order to avoid any confusion with the aforementioned country singer, you might want to take SHANNONBROWNLAKERSLITTLEUSEDBACKUP.com for $9.99/year. You'd definitely beef up the page views if you advertise Brown as a superhero and post this video on the homepage:

There are at least three famous people in China with the same spelling "Sun Yue", one of them with the identical Chinese spelling is a female singer.
