Summer Sessions on the Square starts Saturday

A new summer concert series, Summer Sessions on the Square, starts this Saturday, June 27, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Logan Square monument at the intersection of Logan Blvd. and Milwaukee Ave.

Gather your friends and family, even/especially the kids.  Pack a picnic and a blanket.  And enjoy what Summer Sessions director Suzanne Schultz says "is a family friendly event sure to get your feet tapping."

Think Ravinia.  But the sounds of Summer Sessions will have a distinctly more local flavor.  The first of the series kicks off with music by Grupo Yubá (which demands feet tapping at a minimum!), Son del Viento and the raucus soul of bABY ALright.

The series continues all summer on the last Saturdays of July, August and September.
