Dandelion Snow and Demon Beat

Mix Connor Oberst's vocals with Elliot Smith's acoustics, and you have Dandelion Snow.  Filled with raw emotion, and a surprise solo by keyboardist Morgan Erina, this Brooklyn band brought a beautiful show to Baltimore's Sidebar tavern this past Wednesday, September 30.

The Demon Beat's endless energy and speedy riffs felt like a smack in the face compared to the slower acoustic songs of Dandelion Snow.  For anyone who is a fan of classic rock and roll, with a new twist, this band is for you. I knew this was an amazing show when guitarist Adam Meisterhans proceeded to play his guitar with his teeth!

Roger Harvey, frontman for Dandelion Snow, has collaborated with various artists to release 3 split albums and has a full length album released on September 29th, with yet another album to be released later this year.

Although they were a late addition to the show, Honey House finished off the night, and was a fantastic choice as it blended the softer acoustic of Dandelion Snow with the heavier rock sound of Demon Beat.
