Once the usual Saturday foot and car traffic from shoppers went away, the Star Bar sign shone brightly amongst the night - along with plenty of capes, stillettos and caked-up makeup-wearing ladies.
For New Year's Eve, Little Five Points had two big parties from The Five Spot and Star Bar. Though The Five Spot had music acts like Cloudeater and I.O.Z., Star Bar had many types of folks breeze through their doorways because of their contrasting lineup which included Coathangers and Noot d' Noot.
From moshing to grooving to dodging arms from the two, there were a lot of things ringing in 2012. The slideshow of photos from the night tell the story of nearly everything that happened in Star Bar's, well, bar.
