Independent music promoter Sean Carlson (not be confused with the equally fierce Sean Carnage) and company (co-curator Keith Morris included) are at it again with a killer lineup for this year's FYF Fest. The annual festival which promotes music, art, and comedy will be a one-day event held at the Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown L.A this Saturday. Tickets went on sale a couple of months ago via TicketWeb at a discounted early bird price and are still available online or at various independent record stores for $30.

Over the course of the last few years, FYF Fest has grown from a smaller-scaled gathering in Echo Park; utlizing the neighborhood's venues, galleries, and artistic spaces to a full-fledged experience for the masses. Easily comparable to some of the other indiecentric music events in the country, FYFest promoters take it up a notch with a slew of intimate and often exclusive FYF Fest Fan Appreciation Shows around southern California all throughout the year and are also the group responsible for the amazing Matador 21st Anniversary coming up this October in Las Vegas.

Local favorites such as Abe Vigoda, Best Coast, and Wavves will be sharing the stage with some pretty heavy hitters this year, including some very seasoned veterans. Full lineup includes: The Rapture, Panda Bear (of Animal Collective), Sleep, Dead Man's Bones, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, !!!, The Mountain Goats, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Delorean, Cold Cave, 7Seconds, Washed Out, Thee Oh Sees, Davila 666, School of Seven Bells, AA Bondy, The Blow, Best Coast, Titus Andronicus, Wavves, Vetiver, The Soft Pack, Abe Vigoda, Warpaint, OFF!, Ceremony, Big Feedia, Cults, Screaming Females, Magic Kids, The Growlers, The Goat, Lower Dens, Let's Wrestle, and DJ Sets from Dublab Soundsystem.

An added bonus this year is the Comedy Tent from 2-4pm you can catch: Janeane Garofalo, David Koechner, Paul Scheer, The Skylar Brothers, Matt Besser, Matt Braugner, Jen Kirkman, Brent Weinbach, Brody Stevens, Jarrett Grode, Matt Dwyer, Kyle Kinane, and Harris Wittels.

For those who've opted for VIP wrist bands, an exclusive VIP lounge will be curated by the Cha Cha Lounge in between the two main stages and will feature adult beverages (at bar prices), picnic areas and shade, as well as exclusive food trucks. A limited number of VIP bands are available for $65.
