The 32nd annual EQT Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta will be July 3rd through 5th with the final day being completely green.
Sunday, July 5th the event will be dedicated to eco-friendly entertainment and activities. There will be no motorized vehicles, powerboats and jet skis are removed from the rivers in order to allow only muscle-powered racing and sports.
There will be no shortage of activity however; the final day will feature a Frisbee dog show, a country music concert, a dragon boat challenge, a bass fishing tournament and kayaking lessons. In between events check out the climbing wall, CBS radio kids zone and USA military zone for additional activities all day long.
The other two days will be packed full of stunt shows and fireworks and possibly the most anticipated event on Friday, July 3rd when high wire record holder Nik Wallenda will walk across the Allegheny River on a high wire. There are also numerous concerts and live broadcasts from radio stations.
There is something for the whole family and everything is free. The entire weekend is full of exciting events and activities.
