Concert promotions company Live Nation is once again offering $10 tickets to selected shows for a limited period, as ticket sales continue to struggle in the current economic climate. Shows featured in the promotion include Maroon 5, Crowded House, Creed, The Jonas Brothers and Rihanna. The current offers last until midnight on July 21, although they form part of a three day promotion.
Seattle fans of American Idol will be pleased to hear that the American Idol Live! show at the KeyArena on August 20, 2010, is included in the promotion, so they will be able to see their heroes for only $10 plus fees (actual price $17.62). Tickets were over $50 at full price.
Other highlights include Maroon 5 in Bristow and Camden at the start of August, Robert Plant in Miami, and Stone Temple Pilots in Chicago and Cleveland. Some shows are priced at $10 including fees, while others add service fees on top of the $10 ticket price.
Be certain to check the Live Nation website for ongoing offers, as the list of promoted concerts changes regularly.
Live Nation merged with Ticketmaster earlier this year, to create America's single largest ticketing and events company. Since then Live Nation has offered several promotions in an attempt to fill venues, as ticket sales continue to decline.
