Jann Klose has released an album called Reverie that is just a phenomenal piece of music to listen to and should be apart of everyone’s musical library. Filled with contemporary sweet sounds this collection is purely magical for your ears.
Jann is a German born, African raised musician who brings his music to the world with power and beauty. His style is simple, but can only be classified as tremendous. He has no limitations and proves himself one song after another. As the CD progresses the songs develop into a work of art complimenting the previous song with style. Not many CD’s are perfect from beginning to end, but Reverie is a timeless work of art that has no bad songs, lyrics, or notes.
The first track “Beautiful Dream” has a feeling to it that opens the compilation out in a flawless way. His voice is absolutely wonderful as it carries the song to perfection. The blend of the music and vocals is well balanced within the great musical sound-scapes. Very mellow feeling to it that is positive and smooth throughout.
“Doing Time” is another amazing piece to listen to that brings on a feeling of Lennon and McCartney. The adult pop song is well written, well played, and is well appreciated by the ears of the adult music fans. This nice ditty is classy and was polished so well it shines through in such a comfortable way. Highly enjoyable masterpiece of grace that is a must hear for all.
“You really got to hold me down” is a spectacular sample of music from beginning to end. Its resonant style makes a wonderful statement from several different perspectives. This hymn could be played over and over and never get tired of it.
“Mother Said, Father Said” talks within the lyrics about Mom and Dad and things that they said. The song leaves you wondering if the parents are still around or just remembering things said during a childhood long since over. Lyrically it makes you think and wonder in ways that hasn’t happened in years musically. Deep meanings and passion exist within this collection of songs.
