Jay-Z’s BP3 Tour came through Boston last week, bringing the crowd at the TD Garden on a journey through a number of his albums: Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, The Black Album and American Gangster, just to name a few. He’s been holding it down eleven summers, "Where’s the love?" Opening for Mr. Carter, was Virginia-born R&B crooner, Trey Songz, who played to a packed house. Turn on the radio right now and you are guaranteed to hear a handful of his singles in heavy rotation, including 'Say Aah' and 'Neighbors Know My Name.'

This Examiner’s favorites? 'Gotta Go' and 'Last Time.'

Both artists were backed by a live band, showcasing various talented musicians. Hip-hop shows presented alongside a living and breathing band, adds so much more to the stage performance. Boston’s Live Music Examiner did a photo spotlight on Vater Percussion artist, Antwan “Amadeus” Thomson, drummer and musical director for Trey Songz. A mega talent and all around nice dude, Amadeus is part of Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment production team. He has been touring the country with Trey, in a tour bus filled of gifted artists, shutting it down city after city. This supporting crew has no doubt elevated the BP3 tour, making the ladies scream and the fellas jealous. Amadeus’ resume brags of producing for names like 50 Cent, Mike Jones, Talib Kweli, Fabolous and Foxy Brown, but he remains down to earth and modest.

Amadeus is a Yankees fan. Please forgive him, Boston, and check out his website: Platinum Boy Music. Here you can find more information about their 1st lady, aka the ‘Angel of R&B’ – Tiffany Mynon.

The slideshow below is from last Thursday at the TD Garden. Yuuup!

Nice website. Proud of you but don't get too big, you can't call or talk to your family down south. Blood is thicker than water. I don't want anything from you but some conversation.
