Saturday, Japan beat Chinese Taipei in the International Championship Little League World Series (LLWS) 3-2. Japan came from behind to pull out the win in the 7th inning.
Chinese Taipei was the underdog last year’s LLWS and beat Mexico for the title of International Champions. For more on that story, click here.
Saturday at 4 pm, Waipahu, Hawaii will take on Pearland, Texas for the US Championship title at the 2010 LLWS.
Friday, Hawaii pulled out a spot in the final four at the 2010 Little League World Series (LLWS) by beating Georgia, 12-5. Thursday, Pearland, Texas beat and eliminated Auburn, Washington in the LLWS.
The winner of Saturday’s US and International Championship games will play each other Sunday for the winner of the 2010 LLWS.
The LLWS is currently underway in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and will continue through Sunday, August 29 when the final championship games are played. There are Little League teams in 80 countries. The LLWS started with eight international and eight US teams.

Consolation Game: Teams TBA - 11 am on ESPN
World Championship: Teams TBA 3 pm - ABC
