The unexpected death of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, at age 50 has devastated his fans and the music industry. His innovative video creations, dance moves, and music inspired numerous musicians over the last couple of decades.
Several D.C. area music stations have played Michael Jackson's music in the last few days, either in blocks or sprinkled throughout regular programming. Bluewater Productions recently unveiled its biography comic, "Tribute: Michael Jackson, King of Pop" in honor of the pop icon and his legacy.
Bluewater says the biography comic will trace Jackson's rise to fame from his early days as a member of the Jackson 5 through career highlights and his tragic death.

Tribute also will have an alternative wraparound cover created by Vinnie Tartamella. The foreward for the comic will be written by The Official Michael Jackson Fan Club member and Jackson's personal friend Giuseppe Mazzola.
Bluewater President Darren Davis says the book is a tribute not only to Jackson's life and his music, but to his fans, with its unique wraparound cover art.

His death certainly was a shock. A biography comic sounds different. Maybe the library will carry it.
I thought it was an interesting concept and the cover art is gorgeous.
I was so shocked and saddened by Michael's passing, I'm still not over it. In your fans eyes you are our hreo and we love you for all you given us, the music and the memories. May you now have the peace you so richly deserve. RIP
