April Pierce studied literature and philosophy at Boston College and Oxford University. She lives, ghostwrites, examines and is pursuing her masters at NYU in New York City. A published poet, she founded the Tone women's journal while at Oxford, and is an assistant editor of Pensées philosophical journal. She writes sporadically for The Critical Flame, RoverArts, Bodypartsblogzine, and New Polity, and is currently working on a children's book with illustrator Adam Holloway.
