Award winning poet, Martha Collins, will read from her work this Thursday, August 6th, at The Frost Place in Laconia. Collins is an accomplished free verse poet. In addition to winning several literary awards, she founded the Creative Writing program at UMass Boston and taught as a professor for several years. An interview with Cervena Barva Press provides some wonderful insight into her creative process and writing. The reading is part of The Frost Place’s Advanced Poetry Seminar but is free and open to the public. The reading begins at 8 PM in The Barn.
