Scott Barr teaches as an adjunct professor in the Department of English at Cleveland State University. He has published articles in Danish Brotherhood, Northern Ohio Live and The Vindicator magazines, FEMSPEC literary journal, and was a contributor to and City Editor of The Grapevine newspaper. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Northeastern Ohio Master of Fine Arts Program which incorporates the English programs of Kent State University, Youngstown State University, Cleveland State University and the University of Akron. He is currently working on a memoir/period piece book entitled Just a Shot Away.
