The Cypress House is not a novel for everyone. Some people may find the characters are just not very likable. The story was very predictable. I honestly found it hard to finish, skipping pages here...
Mary Daugherty holds an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and graduated from Western Kentucky University, she is member of Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society, and holds a National Golden Key Honor award. Mary Daugherty received a Para-professional Certificate in Library Science and she is a freelance writer and currently working on her first novel. She has written professional book reviews for the News Enterprise and varies other publications and also judged the Laural and Maggie Romance reader Awards for the last two years.
