Bobby update: readers will recall Bobby-the-bunny from Zooh Corner, the handsome bunny who had emergency abdominal surgery two weeks ago. Bobby came through the surgery to remove the obstruction with flying colors, and then threw a blood clot which resulted in the loss of two of Bobby’s toes. Zooh Corner hoped to save at least half of his foot, but a portion of the foot had to be amputated during Bobby’s regularly scheduled dental trim last week.

The vet bills continue to mount, but through the efforts of Zooh Corner, the generosity of readers and loyal Zooh Corner supporters, over $2000 has been raised towards Bobby's ongoing veterinary bills, which include bandage changes, wound care, medications for pain and to prevent infection, and his current stay with the veterinarian at her home for temporary 24/7 supervision). Bobby could have died but he didn't---because of Zooh Corner, because of his awesome veterinarians, Dr Sari Kanfer and Dr. Tiffany Margolin, because of his loving foster mum, and because of the generosity of those who donated a few dollars (or more) to fund his medical bills. We are all Zooh Corner and we are all saving lives. We will all make sure Bobby goes on to have a happy pain free life. ♥
