Celebrity Gossip reported on April 4 that Zac Efron has been heating up the set of his new film “Townies.” Efron has been one of the most talked about men in Hollywood ever since his debut in “High School Musical,” which premiered on the Disney Channel back in 2006 and launched the careers of many young stars.
“High School Musical” followed the story of Troy Bolton, played by Zac Efron, and Gabriella Montez, played by Vanessa Hudgens. The two meet at a party and then are surprised a few weeks later to find out they will be going to high school together. The two step on toes when they audition for their school’s musical and the drama ensues.
Zac and Vanessa were a hot item on and off the set back in the day, but the two eventually parted ways. They have been on a quest to shed their innocent images ever since.
