Yolanda Diaz presented at Omaha Fashion Week for Little Miss Sunshine. Generally, the presentation was a success with her choice of color and pattern refreshing. A couple of minor missteps did not detract from the overall collection and the models certainly sold what they were wearing as they looked so happy to be in their outfits.
Some fan favorites were looks with large pink bow accents. In particular, a black dress with white side panel and side waist bow was refreshingly different. It was designed just right so as not to look like two different dresses were put together. Instead, it was a stunning success and wow moment.
The capes and mini bows were both hits and misses. The dress covered in pink bows was a cute dress but overdone in pink bows. A few less would have made it more successful. The cape dress with three bows on the shoulder was quite darling and different than what we've seen in the past. The black and white striped leggings were a crowd pleaser. Slightly reminiscent of The Gap, the top and color scheme of green and yellow are a really nice way to keep this outfit present day. The swirl dress was another crowd pleaser. It was really darling and could be used in many settings.
