WWE Wrestle Mania 30: Undertaker injured, Hogan/Austin/Rock and more

Lots of news coming out of Wrestle Mania 30 last night in New Orleans, LA so here we go.

Obviously, the biggest shock of the night came as The Undertaker losing to Brock Lesnar and The Streak ending. I’m not usually a conspiracy guy but I think there’s a chance Taker himself changed the outcome of this match on the fly. While unlikely, part of me feels that could have been the case.

I have no issues with Brock Lesnar and think he’s a huge draw for WWE even on a part-time schedule. With that said, if The Streak was to end, it would have made more sense for a younger, full-time performer to get this type of rub. Wrestling News’s Richard Gray has a very nice piece on this here.

The same website is reporting that Undertaker was taken to a New Orleans area hospital following his match with Brock Lesnar last night with non-life threatening injuries.

Triple H was busted open around his nose during his match with Daniel Bryan and Billy Gunn (according to was coughing up a little blood following his match (alongside Kane and Road Dogg) against The Shield.

Wrestling News has a number of pictures of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and The Rock together last night during the opening of Wrestle Mania 30. You can check those out here.

Hulk Hogan called last night’s venue (Superdome), the Sliverdome twice before the fans got his attention. Of course, the Silverdome here in Pontiac, MI was the site of Wrestle Mania 3 featuring Hulk Hogan defeating Andre the Giant.
