The High Five Tour visited Reno to “raise funds to expand programs for the Wounded Warriors Family Support, and to thank Americans around the country”. Members of the Mustang Car Club in Reno have the honor to be participants to demo and drive the GT500 Mustang. It made a stop at the Reno Town Mall today while Joe Wyatt, Darold Roy and Raul Caceres joined Eddie Floyd and Dennis Romeo on set at America Matters Media morning radio show.
The 2013 High Five tour began in Omaha, Nebraska. It lasts five months ending on Veteran’s Day in November. The Wounded Warrior Mustang will travel about 24,000 miles and to more than 60 cities across 48 states according to Joe Wyatt.
The High Five Tour is expected to raise over $500,000 before the tour is finished with over 62 sponsors donating funds. For a $5 (or more) donation, you can join thousands of individuals who have signed the car, many of them thanking the warriors that have served. Funds raised have been pledged to build two smart homes for wounded warriors. The locations for the omes are Fayette, North Carolina nd Guthrie, Oklahoma.
