Maria Sharapova headlined the list of top women tennis players who took over the red carpet at the WTA pre-Wimbledon party in London. The French Open champion, Sharapova, made an impressive entrance by arriving in a Porsche driven by former Formula One driver Mark Webber.

With Wimbledon set to start Monday, the party, hosted at the Roof Gardens in London, saw many WTA players including No. 1 Serena Williams, Ana Ivanovic, Li Na, and Andrea Petkovic attending the glitzy event.

Sharapova talked about what it feels like to be at Wimbledon,

'It's a beautiful venue. There's so much tradition and around the town there's so much excitement in the lead up to such a big tournament.

The 20-year-old was at Wimbledon with Maria Sharapova, as she visited the French Open winner's first pop-up sweet store Sugarpova, which is open in Wimbledon Village until the tournament finishes on July 6.
