To complete these series of balance games requires a Wii balance board and Wii Fit Plus. You may want to have a chair handy to assist with balance. These ten exergames will take about ten minutes to complete, each one being about one minute. Take a few minutes out of your day and practice!
Basic Balance Test
Relaxation is key. Instead of leaning side to side, trying shifting the weight while bending knees, keeping back straight and shoulders relaxed as in tai chi.

Sample result. The goal is to receive a low time in each progressively harder round. This balance game can also be done sitting down. Just place balance board on a stable chair surface, sit and play. How did you do?
Single-Leg balance test
Want to test your balance and leg strength? Try this mini-exergame. Feel free to hold on to the back of a chair for assistance. Do not lock your knee. Posture is key and relaxed breathing. Support your core by contracting abdominal muscles during this exercise. Conversely, practice tai chi and relax the abdomen breathing in the tan tien.
Single-Leg balance test 2
This is where mature exergamers might encounter a frustrating experience. Even though it's hard enough to stand on one leg without assistance, the game provides a distracting screen in an attempt to force you to focus or lose your balance. Feel free to close your eyes and mute the sound. The goal is to maintain your balance.

Exergamers follow basic workout guidelines which include strengthening both sides of the body, equally. Whenever possible, if a balance game challenges only one side of the body, be sure to repeat it on the other side.
