This is the fifth in a series of articles about those oddball socks whose mates somehow disappear once they enter the inner sanctum of the laundry room.
Being the oddball is not always a bad thing. Often the oddball in a group of people is the one who instigates the most interesting conversations or ease a tense moment by cracking a joke. After all, play seems to come naturally those who are odd, including socks.
It will not matter whether you are making a toy with a matchless sock or are using one to help you carry your sports equipment, you will no longer be upset when those oddball socks emerge from your laundry room. In fact, you just might begin to look for ways to “lose” some on your own.
A couple of simple things you can do would be to roll odd socks into balls and play games or remove the top 2” off two odd socks to use as sweat bands.
