Anaheim is home to one of the world's most popular destinations - Disneyland" where the magic of Walt Disney can be enjoyed every day. But this is not all that Anaheim has to offer, while some areas have not added any new attractions there is an area in Anaheim that is enjoying a healthy growth of popular places to visit.
The area is along Anaheim Boulevard, between West Santa Ana Street and East Broadway where the Packing District, surrounded by City Hall, newly built lofts, the historic Carnegie Library, Muzeo Museum, the Gehry-designed Anaheim ice rink, and the historic neighborhoods of the Colony District, is now a new ongoing development. It includes the restored Packing House; the center street promenade just a few blocks north with clothing stores and niche shops; and Muzeo, a new museum located in the 1908 Carnegie Library on South Anaheim Blvd.
Ideally located the area is 14.9 miles fron Santa Ana and just off the 91-freeway at the La Palma Ave exit. Visitors to the Disneyland area can easily visit as it is only 2.81 miles from the Anaheim Convention Center.
