Tree giveaway is going on this morning at the Baker Building. Many businesses have contributed to the event. It will last from 8-10 am. Three types of trees are being given away, and each family gets one set. Trees are important to the environment and are known for coolness of shade on hot days. Trees are known for living hundreds of years and adding beauty to any landscape. The attached article lists more important aspects of a tree. If you like trees or would just like to participate, please be encouraged to go on out now to get a tree.
The Bible utilizes the tree throughout the Scripture. It is used as analogy to describe types of people either good or bad. What kind of tree are you? What types of fruit do you produce or do you produce any at all? These are some tree aspects talked about in the Bible. Jesus utilized the tree in many stories. Here are some verses:
- “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.(Matthew 12:33)

Even your faith is compared to a tree, the mustard seed that grows to have branches for the birds. Do not forget the tree of life that will be for all believers in the New City of Jerusalem. Believers will you be a good tree with exponential faith in Jesus. Challenge: Examine yourself to see if you are a tree with belief in Jesus to last throughout eternity.
