  • Simply begin the application of "Wallpaper for Windows" by removing the film from its backing. Save the backing for a later time when you may want to redecorate with a new film and you will want to save this film for another application.
  • Mix water and soap in a spray bottle and simply spray the window to prepare for the easy installation of the window wallpaper. Do not worry about over spraying, it's only soap and water.
  • Either order film pre-cut to your dimensions or pre-cut it yourself. Then begin applying the shiny side of the film to the window. It does not have to be perfect. The soap and water will allow for you to easily move the film around so that it fits in the window properly.
  • Continue the application process working your way from one edge to the other moving the film to position correctly as you go. Spray more of the water and soap if needed.
  • Finish the application of the window wallpaper smoothing it  with your hands to the outer edges of the window. Use the soap and water spray to keep the film slippery to get it positioned correctly.
  • Now that the film has now been applied covering the entire window pane to your satisfaction. Smooth it out using your hands from the center out to the edges.
  • Take the handy credit card sized squeegee provided by Wallpaper for Windows with your chosen film and use it to smooth out the water and air bubbles working from the center out to the edges until the film is completely smooth with no bubbles.
