One of the best ways to spend the day is wandering Ventura Harbor and Ventura Harbor Village. With amazing views, shopping, sailing and surfing, you’re unlikely to get bored, even on a foggy day.
Ventura Harbor Village is just over an hour from Los Angeles off the 101 N. As you wind your way toward Spinnaker Drive, you’ll get a chance to see loads of pumpkin patches, agricultural stretches and Olivas Adobe Historical Park. All worth adding to your day trip, if you don’t mind brief detours from your itinerary.
Once you do enter Ventura Harbor Village, you may be overwhelmed with options about what to do. Do you go marina side and gaze at the ships? Do you rent a boat, kayak or paddle board and set off water touring? Do you head down to one of the gorgeous beaches to watch the surfers ride? Do you consider heading out on a harbor tour, or jump on to one of the boats heading to the Channel Islands?
You have so many options! Here are just a couple of recommendations for families and singletons alike who are visiting the area.
